  • Be currently enrolled in a degree or diploma granting course of study such as a high school, secondary school, college, university, homeschool, or similar educational institution.

  • Have a GitHub user account.
  • Be at least 13 years old.

step 1 : Sign up to github using your Institutional mail ID. or if you already have a github account you can add the institutional mail id as a secondary mail ID. (you would be asked to verify this mail address in order to link it to your github profile).

step 2 : After Signup visit this page, Click on Get your pack and login into your github account.

step 3 : Fill the form and wait for the github team to review your application.

It will take a few days to get a response on your application(Mine took approximately 20 days). Don’t get disheartened if it didn’t pass. Try for a second time after a few days.
